If you're not sure which method is right for you, staff can talk through each option and help you decide what fits best according to your health history, lifestyle, and needs.

From there, the clinic can connect you with the most appropriate in-house services and/or trusted community partners, ensuring you receive the guidance, care, and resources needed.

If you think you might be pregnant or just want to be sure, the Women's Health Clinic offers supportive and confidential pregnancy testing in a safe, judgment-free environment. Staff will explain how the test works, what the results mean, and talk through any questions. If you discover you are pregnant, we will help connect you to prenatal care and ongoing support.

If you are pregnant, the Women's Health Clinic provides one-on-one guidance to help you understand your Medicaid options, complete applications accurately, and navigate the enrollment process with confidence. During this consultation, if it is determined you also need other services such as CHIP or SNAP, staff will help you apply for those as well. The clinic's goal is to ensure that every eligible client gains access to the healthcare coverage they need for a healthy pregnancy. We are here to answer questions, assist with paperwork, and provide ongoing support to help remove barriers to care.

Age requirements for the Women's Health Clinic vary by service.

• Cervical Cancer Screening: Available for individuals 21 and older.
• Mammogram referrals: Available for those 40 and older, or younger if you have a family history of breast cancer or are experiencing symptoms.
• Contraception Options: Available for ages 13 and older. Please note: Parental consent is required for ages 13-17.
• Resource Navigation: No age limitation.
• Pregnancy Testing: Available for all ages.
• STI/STD Testing & Treatment: Availability for adults; ages 13 to 17 is limited to HIV, gonorrhea, chlamydia, and syphilis.
• Medicaid navigation: No age requirement, but you must be pregnant.

The charge for a Women's Health Clinic visit is $70.
For those who qualify, there is an option for a sliding scale fee. Bring your last 3 pay stubs or your most recent tax return to see if you qualify.

When you come to your appointment, please bring a photo ID and last 3 pay stubs or last tax return if you would like to see if you qualify for the sliding scale fee.

Same day appointments may be available at the clinic if schedules permit. It is recommended to make an appointment in advance.

Yes, all services provided at the clinic are confidential.

For safety reasons, children are not allowed at your Women's Health Clinic appointment.

The clinic does not have the ability to bill insurance at this time.

It is recommended to have your first Pap smear at age 21, or earlier if you have specific concerns or symptoms. You can always contact the clinic if you're unsure or have questions.

According to The American College of Gynecologists and Obstetricians, the guidelines for how often a pap smear should be completed are:

Age 21-29 - Pap test every 3 years

Age 30-65 - Pap test and HPV test every 5 years or
Pap test alone every 3 years or
HPV test alone every 5 years
Clinical breast exam annually to include mammogram for those 40 and over. Referral information will be given for mammograms.

65 or older - No screening needed if no history of cervical changes and either three negative Pap tests in a row, two negative HPV tests in a row or two negative co-tests in a row within the past 10 years.

After a pap smear, it will take about 4 to 5 business days to get results. If your results are normal, you will receive a letter in the mail. If results are abnormal, your provider will call you to discuss your results.

The clinic does not offer colposcopy services at this time.

The Women's Health Clinic does not perform ultrasounds. Once you are referred to and begin prenatal care, your doctor will arrange the ultrasounds at the recommended times.

The Women's Health Clinic does not offer fertility services at this time.
